ANT-MAN 3: Jonathan Majors Has Reportedly Been Cast as KANG THE CONQUEROR

It's been months since there has been any big casting news for the Marvel Cinematic Universe but that comes to an end right now.

According to Deadline, actor Jonathan Majors has been cast as the villain Kane the Conqueror in ANT-MAN 3.

This news is very big as Kang has been a big-bad in Marvel Comics for a very long time and fans have been wanting to see a live-action version over the past few years. Seems like those fans will finally get their wish as the most logical link to introducing Kang is through the Quantum Realm that was introduced in the first ANT-MAN movie.

Deadline writes:

"Sources add that like with so many new characters in the MCU, there could be a twist with how the character is featured in future films, but as of now he is likely to be one of the main villains in the next installment in the franchise...

"Although its possible he could be used differently in the movie, in the comics, Kang is a time-traveling entity who had battles with everyone from Thor to Spider-Man to the entire Avengers team."

ANT-MAN 3 does not yet have an official release date but it could be one of three dates Marvel Studios has reserved in 2023 for feature films.
