Marvel Studios Slides Each Movie Back One Release Date With BLACK WIDOW Now Coming in November

Disney and Marvel Studios have officially made the move to shift most Marvel films one date back, per Marvel. The only film to stay put is BLACK PANTHER 2.

Also, the sequel to SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME has not moved its release date, as of yet, since that film is distributed by Sony Pictures not Disney, and Sony will announce if there is a change. Although its date could still shift since the movie was supposed to begin filming this summer and that could still get pushed back due to the pandemic.

So now BLACK WIDOW, which was scheduled to release on May 1, will now release on November 6, which was the date THE ETERNALS was set to release.

This domino-effect will take place as follows:

2020
November 6 - BLACK WIDOW

2021
February 12 - THE ETERNALS
May 7 - SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS
July 16 - SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME SEQUEL - Sony / Marvel Studios
November 5 - DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS

2022
February 18, 2022 - THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER
May 6, 2022 - BLACK PANTHER 2
July 8, 2022 - CAPTAIN MARVEL 2
October 7, 2022 - UNTITLED

Be safe. Stay at home. And wash your hands.
