SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Re-Released in Theaters With 4 Minutes of Extra Footage

Sony Pictures landed itself its highest grossing movie ever with the release of the Marvel Studios produced SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME last month. Because of this box office achievement, Sony will re-release the sequel during the extended Labor Day holiday weekend with an additional four minutes of footage, per THR. The re-release in theaters will begin on Thursday August 29.

What the footage will be remains to be seen, but the popular guess is that it'll be deleted footage from the trailer showing Peter Parker in his Iron Spider suit fighting off bad guys and having a laugh with the NYPD.

In the upcoming home release of the sequel, this footage will be a short film titled "Peter's To-Do List" and it is the most logical choice of extra footage to add to the film's theatrical re-release.

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME is the first Spider-Man movie to gross over $1 billion in the global box office.
