Los Angeles Pays Tribute to Batman Actor Adam West by Turning on the Bat-Signal

To one generation of Batman fans, Adam West is the definitive live-action version of the character. Since West portrayed the Caped Crusader in the 60s television show, on film and in voice acting roles, many have donned the cape and cowl and with his passing on June 9 many have made tributes to the late actor including several actors who have been Batman over the years.

But no tribute compares to the one the city of Los Angeles did. The city turned on the Bat-signal last night and B/H Public Relations sent DailySuperHero.com several images and captions from the event.
