Warner Bros. and their DC Extended Universe (DCEU) have been off the a rocky start when it comes to trying to gain critical acclaim for their recent superhero movies. Although not financially, as MAN OF STEEL, BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and SUICIDE SQUAD have made a ton of cash in the worldwide box office but they have not faired well in the eyes of top movie reviewers as well as the biggest nerd critics.
WONDER WOMAN has been trending as the beacon of hope for the DCEU — Superman needs to get to this point, too, Mr. Zack Snyder, nudge-nudge. Now, a select few critics in Hollywood have seen an early screening of the film and they were allowed to briefly tweet their reactions and everyone seems very positive about the superhero's first big screen solo movie after being introduced over 75 years ago.
