Ever since SUICIDE SQUAD hit theaters this past August, it's been implied how there would not be an extended cut. However, with all the information reported about various edits of the movie and a lot of footage of the Joker left on the editing room floor, it seemed destined for an extended cut to become a reality. And it has become reality.
Hopefully, as it did in the extended cut for BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, the pacing will improve in SUICIDE SQUAD as well as some of the plot issues can be resolved. (Fingers crossed.)
UPDATE: Several reports claim there will be an additional 13 minutes of footage added to the theatrical cut. This has not been confirmed as of this update on 10/5/16 at 3:42 p.m. Eastern.
The SUICIDE SQUAD extended cut will release on Digital HD on November 15 and it'll hit stores shelves on December 13.
