JUSTICE LEAGUE: Commissioner Gordon Actor J.K. Simmons Gets Ripped and Shaves His Beard For Role

At 61-years-old, actor J.K. Simmons is not known for taking on highly physical roles in his career. But this doesn't mean the former J. Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Man franchise and new Commissioner Jim Gordon in JUSTICE LEAGUE is out of shape.

In fact, Simmons is probably in better shape than you are. Proof of this is in the embed image below.

Yeah... don't mess with Simmons because he can and will kick your ass.

It can be assumed that his role in JUSTICE LEAGUE might be more of a physical role Simmons usually takes on which is why he's getting jacked in the gym. Or he just likes to be in tip-top shape. Either way, he's a fantastic actor and fans should be looking forward to seeing his take on Gordon.

Finally, check out the latest photo of Simmons where he's no longer sporting his giant beard, which he had in the above image just a few days ago, and now he has only a mustache for his turn as Gordon.

JUSTICE LEAGUE is currently filming in London and releases on November 17, 2017.
