Ron Perlman is Campaigning to be CABLE in DEADPOOL 2 and it Would be a Perfect Fit

Sometimes actors use social media to campaign for roles. Most times it isn't covered here on The Daily SuperHero because usually it's just a dream that never materializes for an actor.

But every once and a while an actor will campaign for a role that is too perfect of a fit and this just happened with actor Ron Perlman (HELLBOY franchise), who took to Facebook to share his desire for the role of Cable in DEADPOOL 2.

The only concern is Perlman's age. At 66-years-old, Perlman might be too old for a role like this that will require signing a multi-picture contract to appear in several movies possibly over the next 10 (ish) years. No offense Mr. Perlman, just stating a possible issue here. Although, if Fox does want to go for an older Cable, Perlman should be their top pick.

Can you imagine Ryan Reynolds and Perlman riffing off each other? The thought alone might be too perfect of a fit.

Cool Update: here's how artist BossLogic has depicted Perlman as Cable.

DEADPOOL 2 is currently in development.
