Warner Bros. and DC Films Are Considering a DEATHSTROKE Movie Due to the Success of DEADPOOL [April Fools' Day 2016]

In a strange twist of fate, The Daily SuperHero has learned from one of its Hollywood insiders that Warner Bros. and DC Films are in consideration of green lighting a DEATHSTROKE movie.

The insider states this is not only due to the success Fox has had with their recent Marvel blockbuster movie DEADPOOL, but because there is a lot of internal studio hype for this summer's SUICIDE SQUAD movie and its anti-hero theme. This is a theme that's starting to trend fast thanks to DEADPOOL and Warner Bros. wants to be firmly planted with a seat on this trend.

In case you're not familiar with Deathstroke (the Terminator), he is literally the source influence of the creation of Deadpool. Swords, guns, martial arts... it's all there for both the Marvel and DC characters with the exception that Deadpool has his insanity as well as his super healing factor. Even their names are a close match, Slade Wilson and Wade Wilson. Also, Deathstroke has been known to go toe-to-toe with the Teen Titans in the comics and in animated television series so there's a chance this could have some Teen Titans Easter Eggs or appearances as well.

This is just a funny case of irony as one influenced the other's creation and now that character is influencing consideration from Warner Bros. to green light DEATHSTROKE.

The only other information provided about the development of DEATHSTROKE  is that there might be another character who may go up against Deathstroke who was referred to as "Joy" and a script outline could also be in the works already, too.

And there is one more piece of news to share about this...
