SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING is Official, Here's its Movie Logo and Marisa Tomei Confirmed as Aunt May



At CinemaCon, Sony Pictures announced the official title for the first solo Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it's SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING. The studio also revealed the movie title logo treatment, as seen above. Actor Marisa Tomei was confirmed as Aunt May, too.

Sony Pictures executive Tom Rothman did confirm the double meaning of the title which is that Spidey is coming back home to the MCU as well as the annual high school event.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING is written by John Francis Daley and Johnathan M. Goldstein, stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man and Tomei as Aunt May, directed by Jon Watts and begins filming this summer for its theatrical release on July 7, 2017.
