SUICIDE SQUAD Reportedly Back For Reshoots to Make it More Fun and Funny

Is this the first evidence of some fallout from BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE? Seems it might be as BirthMoviesDeath is now reporting SUICIDE SQUAD has gone back for reshoots to make it more fun and funny.

Here's what the sources of BDM are telling them:

"A couple of weeks ago I spoke with an excellent source who told me something surprising: the trailer for Suicide Squad, the one with the Queen song, did not represent the film as it then existed. 'Every joke in the movie is in that trailer,' this source told me. The enormous positive response to the trailer led to Warner Bros requesting reshoots that would alter the tone of the film, bringing in some more of the lightness to which audiences responded.
"I have since spoken to more sources and I understand that the reshoots are happening right now, as recently as this week, and that they're big - tens of millions of dollars big. And they're adding more humor and lightness into the film."

This new bit of information shows two things: (1.) This is a great sign that Warner Bros. and DC Films are serious about improving the quality of their films and have listened closely to the overall reaction from BATMAN V. SUPERMAN saying it is too dark and lacks more fun and humurous elements in it. And (2.) it shows the studio is committed to putting out the best movie they possibly can in order to continue making lots of box office cash.

When the trailers for SUICIDE SQUAD were released, there was definitely a sense of fun in the movie and many became really excited about the movie. If this report is true, then thank goodness there will be more of that added to it before its August 5 release.
