DEADPOOL Busts into the Top 10 Comic Book Movie Adaptations of All-Time Domestically and Breaks $700 Million Worldwide

It's just been over a month since DEADPOOL released in theaters and it keeps bringing in lots of cash. Another estimated $10 million domestic and $11 million overseas was brought in this weekend.

Domestically, DEADPOOL has moved into the Top 10 of comic book movie adaptations of all-time passing by IRON MAN. The Merc With a Mouth has raked in $328 million and sits behind GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY ($333M) and SPIDER-MAN 3 ($336) and should pass both next weekend. (See image below.)

Overseas, DEADPOOL has taken in $380M.

Worldwide, DEADPOOL has over $708 million.

This really can't be said enough... Not bad for a movie that cost $58 million and former Fox executive (and current Sony Pictures chair) Tom Rathman never wanted to make.

DEADPOOL 2 is in development with scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning to write its script.
