BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: Despite Negative Reviews it's the First Time These Heroes are On Screen; Go See it and Judge it Yourself

Editorial: Tuesday night The Daily SuperHero got to see BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and you can read its spoiler-filled review here. But there's been some who have suggested there is some agenda against this movie. In fact, there is no agenda because everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are all pop culture icons and have a huge place in generations of fans' hearts including many here at The Daily SuperHero. If you were born pre-2000s, most of you read your first comic book and it was either Batman, Superman or Spider-Man. These are the iconic heroes of the 20th Century who most parents shared one of these heroes with their kids as their first exposure to comics and super heroes. So to say there is ever an agenda against these DC heroes because someone wants a movie to fail is just some weak tea and a total bullsh*t reason.

The Daily SuperHero's review may not be glowing and totally positive but it is fair by sharing positives, negatives and a suggestion as to how to fix the movie to make it better. Never it is mentioned that the movie was bad nor is it said to be a crap movie as some website have published. BATMAN V. SUPERMAN has its moments but there's a lot of extra and unnecessary layers clouding up the story. While its trailers fell into the theme of ruined too much and what could have, and should have, been some powerful moments and surprises that were better suited to be revealed while in your theater seat.

These perceived issues are a common theme throughout many of the positive and negative reviews already online. It's an issue with story, which is always more important than anything else in movies, but the good moments do help to mask its the problems but do not solve them. However, there are definitely some really, really bad reviews that are over-the-top negative. Again, those are opinions of one person, not you. And you don't have to read those, by the way, because if you give sites like that a read then you're only giving them what they wanted from you the entire time... a page view.

You need to be the judge, jury and maybe even the executioner and go see BATMAN V. SUPERMAN yourself. It may not be a perfect movie, but not many films are perfect. But it's your first time to see Batman and Superman on the big screen together in cinema history as well as the first time to see Wonder Woman in a live action movie, too.

Will BATMAN V. SUPERMAN be able to sustain longterm box office success? That's really up to the fan base, who will most likely see it more than once, and more importantly the general audience. Long term success is really up to the much larger general audience because its moviegoing base is many times larger than the more hardcore comic book fan base.

BATMAN V. SUPERMAN will make a ton of cash in its opening weekend, for sure, although it may not break the biggest box office opening weekend records. And no matter what your opinion is of this movie is there is a good chance you'll be happy you at least saw such a cinematic event of three super heroes being on-screen together for the first time no matter how good or bad you thought the rest of the movie is.
