Toy Fair 2016: Marvel Legends 6-Inch DOCTOR STRANGE Movie Figure Shown and His Full Costume Has a Jedi Look to it

Today at Toy Fair in New York, Hasbro showed the press a photo of their Marvel Legends 6-inch DOCTOR STRANGE movie figure. Unfortunately, Hasbro and Marvel employed some eagle-eyed security to make sure nobody in the press was taking any photos during the Hasbro Brand Preview presentation. So The Daily SuperHero was not allowed to take a photo of the full look of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.

However, it can be verbally described. So let's start with the official first look photos of Doctor Strange from last December.

In the two above photos you can only see the top half of the hero costume. The bottom half of his costume has not yet been revealed and looked tattered and worn. He's wearing a blue robe with his red cloak and what appeared to be a beaded sash or layer at his waist that a Gypsy would wear.

Hasbro could not debut this figure or image because Marvel just recently requested a few minor changes to the figure before it can be revealed to the public. But make no mistake about it, this Doctor Strange look definitely has influence from his comic book version with a little bit of a Jedi flavor to it. And not like an Anakin Skywalker Jedi look, more of the worn robe look of an old Obi-Wan Kenobi from STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE.

This could be an early version of his costume in DOCTOR STRANGE but that's just an assumption because no further information was provided about the figure. And to those who say it's a more classic Doctor Strange look, not a Jedi look... it's a more familiar descriptive term for those not familiar with Doctor Strange in the comics.

DOCTOR STRANGE releases on November 4, 2016.
