Rumor: BATMAN Looks to be the 'Nick Fury of the DC Extended Universe'

This post may contain SPOILERS for WONDER WOMAN and future films in the DCEU. You've been warned.

Even though this post is tagged as rumor it appears to be true seeing as how it's already known Batman will make an appearance in next summer's SUICIDE SQUAD. In other words, as the headline states, Batman is the Nick Fury of the DCEU.

According to a rumor report by the website JoBlo, Batman is set to appear in WONDER WOMAN, which starts filming in November 2015.

"...[T]he Caped Crusader is said to appear in the film when Diana fights Ares' winged demonic minions, watching her save civilian lives during the battle. This could simply be a shot of Batman from a rooftop observing or something more, but his presence will be there. After the film’s finale, Batman will approach Wonder Woman in some regard to let her know he is aware of her..."

If you're surprised by this, shame on you. Batman is Warner Bros.' moneymaker and he is the one hero who knows the most about every villain, super hero and Justice League member in the comics. So it makes perfect sense that Batman will be used in a similar fashion as the 'glue' of the DCEU films in a Nick Fury-like role that's been used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
