Mark Ruffalo Says Hulk isn't in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Because What's Next is Too Big of a Reveal

Over the past few months there's been a little bit of confusion regarding Mark Ruffalo possibly being in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Initially the actor said he wasn't in it, then Robert Downey Jr. told him he was, but now Ruffalo says he was cut out of the script for a bigger reveal later in Phase 3.

This new report comes from an interview the Italian website BadTaste, via MCUExchange, has with Ruffalo who said the following. (Translation via Google Chrome and it has been edited for readability.)

"Because [Hulk] still missing is not known where. I thought that I would be in the film... what happened Hulk is something too big [to be revealed], and Marvel wants to use this information later. My character had been... in the script, but then it was [removed]... they want to keep the revelation of what happened a secret, because it is something really big."

Well that quote will definitely get some attention as to what is next for Bruce Banner and the Hulk in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
