Is Tom Hiddleston Trolling Fans by Making it Sound Like LOKI Might Not be Back in THOR: RAGNAROK or the MCU?

There is a lot of sensationalism going around the Internet based on some new comments actor Tom Hiddleston made regarding his role as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In an interview with MTV, Hiddleston said the following about his next turn as Loki.

"I never quite know whether people want to see him again or whether people want to move on… I can’t really take the temperature on it. I would try not to repeat myself. I would try to do something new. I never want to feel like I’m retreading the same steps. I guess it’s like any actor who plays a character over and over again. I wonder what it’s like for the guys who play the Avengers!"

That sounds like a guy who is purposely saying something like he may have been told to say it from Marvel PR. Of course Loki will be in THOR: RAGNAROK because you can't leave the cliffhanger of Loki sitting on the Asgard throne at the end of THOR: THE DARK WORLD go unanswered.

Hiddleston he has a huge fan base who loves him and his portrayal of Loki. Heck, there's even been fans who are behind a campaign to get Loki his own solo movie. While a solo Loki movie probably won't happen, Marvel Studios would be foolish to not bring back their most popular and developed villain from time-to-time in the MCU.

THOR: RAGNAROK begins filming sometime in mid- to the last half of 2016 and releases on November 3, 2017.
