The moment BB-8 was seen rolling around in the first STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS teaser he instantly became a fan favorite. So let's be honest and agree that all-things BB-8 is trending to be the hardest to find collectible, toys and merch this upcoming holiday season.
It's unofficially been revealed that Hasbro has a Target exclusive remote controlled BB-8 figure and will sell in the $79.99 price range. But if you're looking for a higher end remote control BB-8 collectible then you're in luck. It's been (unofficially) revealed Best Buy will have one in the $149.99 price range and will be controlled by your mobile device.
UPDATE 1: This is not a Best Buy exclusive as previously reported since it will reportedly be available at Bed Bath and Beyond.
UPDATE 2: Inside source has confirmed that Apple Stores (though not specific in confirming if all stores or just some, and if online will have it available) will have this for sale on Force Friday.
The coolest part about this high end version is that it's made by a company called Sphero... the same company who actually made the real on-screen version of BB-8. Check out these pics of the Sphero-made BB-8 remote control collectible.
