X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Director Bryan Singer Teases "Ancient Mutanism"

In the end credits scene of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, fans got to see a youthful Apocalypse using his mutant abilities to built the Egyptian pyramids. In X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, fans will see the full power of the villain.

Director Bryan Singer spoke with Yahoo! Movies and teased the mutant villain.

"X-Men has always centered around the fight between mutants and humans. This one’s a bit different. It deals with the concept of ancient mutanism, gods and men. It deals with issues that are global. Apocalypse makes no distinction between humans and mutants, only between the weak and the strong."

In the comics, Apocalypse is one of the X-Men's greatest villains and his Four Horsemen have seen many different mutants on its roster. X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will add a few new names to the Horsemen roster list as Magneto, Archangel, Storm and Psylocke have already been confirmed Apocalypse's Horsemen.
