Sony and Marvel Studios Have Reportedly Found Their SPIDER-MAN Movie Writers

Sony and Marvel Studios' SPIDER-MAN movie has its leading actor (Tom Holland), director (Jon Watts) and now it reportedly has its writers. Previously it was assumed that DAREDEVIL creator Drew Goddard was going to writer and possibly direct SPIDER-MAN, but that seems to be nothing more than an Internet rumor now

According to Deadline, John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein are set (although not confirmed) to write the first SPIDER-MAN movie that will take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The two scribes most recently wrote the script for the Vacation reboot which is set to hit theaters later this month.

SPIDER-MAN will start filming in summer 2016 and releases in theaters on July 28, 2017.
