Lucasfilm is Not Happy About Unauthorized GQ Photo Shoot With STAR WARS and Amy Schumer

Yesterday, images were release by GQ Magazine of comedian/actor Amy Schumer in some scandalous photos with Star Wars characters. One specifically caught my own attention because it was of a topless Schumer in bed with R2-D2 and a cigarette smoking C-3PO.

I was certain there was no way Disney or Lucasfilm film approved of this photo shoot and it looks like I was right because Lucasfilm is not happy about it.

GQ and Schumer have yet to comment as of the publishing of this post and logic says Disney lawyers are hard at work right now. The representation of Star Wars characters here were either not licensed for use in this photo shoot or the photos are perceived as disparaging to the Intellectual Property of Star Wars. Stay tuned because this situation is sure to get more headlines sooner than later.
