AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON to Have an Appearance by Dr. Erik Selvig (And Nude Again Too)

Actor Stellan Skarsgård has become the new Agent Phil Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by not only showing up in multiple films (Thor, The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World) but he has become quite the fan favorite too. While Skarsgård's role in the MCU is a smaller supporting role, he has already had some memorable scenes in the three films he's appeared in. Whether he's under the mind control of Loki, teaching a class in an insane asylum or running around Stonehenge in the nude, Skarsgård has become quite the scene stealer.

Hope you're ready for more because Skarsgård revealed to Total Film (via Screen Rant) that he'll be back for Avengers: Age of Ultron.

"[Y]ou sign on for at least five films, I think. Or I did. I’m going to do my fourth. I’m going to be in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, a small appearance. It’s something really nice."

He also said he will be nude... again.

Yeah, I was naked again. [Marvel] called my agent and said, 'Do you think Stellan will mind being naked?' My agent laughed his head off. 'Yeah, I almost insist!'"

Skarsgård then hinted at what his role in The Avengers sequel will be.

"But usually they call me in if they need something explained. There’s a lot of explanations to do when it comes to that universe."

Avengers: Age of Ultron releases in theaters on May 1, 2015.
