Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder took to social media to reveal the next official image of actor Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader. And he certainly looks like an angry Bats in the new photo.
Also, in DC Entertainment's 2014 San Diego Comic-Con International booth they had Batfleck's cape and cowl on display. There have been conflicting reports as to what the suit is really made of (read this in the link at the end of this post). So after an up close and first hand observation of the cape and cowl, The Daily SuperHero can confirm it's some form of a "vinyl and cloth hybrid" material.
Unfortunately it is hard to tell what the material really is in the photos of the cape and cowl, but rest assured it is not all cloth and it is not all vinyl/rubber. There was no touching of the cape and cowl so I could only rely on what my eyes could see from approximately 1-2 feet away.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently filming in Detroit and is set to release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
