VENOM and MORBIUS Easter Eggs in New Trailer For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

There is no doubt that Venom is being fast-tracked by Sony Pictures to appear in either its own spin-off film or in an upcoming sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man. Speaking of The Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise, there is a newly revealed Easter Egg for Venom in the brand new trailer for the sequel that was released today!

In one scene, Harry Osborn pulls up some Oscorp files and when you zoom in and turn the image you can see 'Venom Storage' listed more than once. Also, you can see 'Morbius' in one file too—and I circled them for you in the image below and click the image to enlarge it. (Morbius is Spidey's vampire foe in the comic book world, in case you didn't already know this.)

How Venom and Morbius might be integrated into The Amazing Spider-Man 2 or a future Spidey film, or even as spin-off films, remains to be seen. Until then we can only speculate.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 releases in theaters on May 2, 2014.
