We know Zack Synder is directing the sequel to Man of Steel, Henry Cavill is coming back as Superman, Ben Affleck has been cast as Batman and Gal Gadot is going to be Wonder Woman. But what about the main villain role in Batman vs. Superman?
According to the website Batman-on-Film, via IGN, there are no Batman villains in the new Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment blockbuster. However, there is rumored to be not one but two Superman villains.
Who the two villains will be, if there's any truth to this rumor of course, remains to be seen but you can bet if there's one villains who should be more or less a guarantee to be in the film it's Lex Luthor. Perhaps Darkseid or Brainiac make an appearance. Or even Doomsday.
Stay tuned as Batman vs. Superman—which has been confirmed to not be the official title for the film by one of its producers—starts filming early 2014 and releases in theaters on July 17, 2015.
