CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Shows Off Lots of Cleveland Locations in New Movie Trailer

As you may (or perhaps may not) know, The Daily SuperHero is currently based in Cleveland—and hoping to relocate to Los Angeles in the next year or two. Back in late spring/early summer, Marvel Studios came to Northeast Ohio for the second time in two years to film over half of the production of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and yours truly covered all the public locations.

Previously, in the summer of 2011, Marvel filmed many scenes of the Battle of New York in The Avengers, in Downtown Cleveland. And don't forget Sony brought Spider-Man 3 to film in Cleveland, too!

Captain America 2 directors Anthony and Joe Russo are from Cleveland and they love filming in the city. Cleveland can, according to past statements made by the Cleveland Film Commission, stand in for anywhere except mountainous or desert locations.

Now that the first trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier is released, lots of Cleveland can be seen in the trailer. Check out all the trailer screenshots from the Cleveland filming. (Click images to enlarge them.)
