One topic that Arad spoke of is highly intriguing. He implied that Spider-Man may eventually get some help by another superhero(s).
"Is there a chance that another Marvel superhero will make a cameo in this movie?
"Uh... I’d rather not answer that at this point. This is what the word ‘spoiler’ means. We want to always leave the audience with a couple of surprises. All of a sudden, you feel like, yeah, there’s a continuity. So if we say today how we go about it, we’d take away from the surprise of the movie."
So, um, yeah... that sounds like Spidey will be getting some crime fighting help either in next summer's sequel or perhaps in the following Spider-Man sequels in 2016 or 2018. (And it's not the Avengers so don't even go there please.) Who the hero(es) could be is a huge mystery though since Sony only owns the movie rights to all-things Spider-Man.
One guess is that it could be a team-up with the Black Cat. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 female actor Felicity Jones has pretty much said—without saying it outright—that she will be playing Black Cat. And in the comic universe her and Spidey have teamed up many times.

Another possible option could be a Peter Parker team-up with high school bully Flash Thompson, who in the comics is Venom. Matter of fact, Thompson is more of a hero version of Venom. Just something to consider since a rumored Venom solo movie has been at a stalemate for some time now and bringing in a more hero version of Venom could be in the cards instead.
With the new Spider-Man franchise seemingly building toward a potential face-off against the Sinister Six in either the 2016 or 2018 sequel, it is very plausible that Spidey will need some backup.
