THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON SDCC Teaser Video Described - UPDATED

Are you ready for an insane, highly intelligent killer robot who is not a Decepticon and wants to remove human life from Earth? If not, you better be because the official name of The Avengers sequel is now The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

How the killer robot will be introduced remains to be seen seeing as how it was thought that the Ant-Man movie was going to set up Ultron. Now it seems clear Dr. Hank Pym (Ant-Man) may now be introduced in the ensemble movie's sequel to help set up Marvel's Ant-Man movie later in 2015. (In theory.)

At Marvel's Studios' Comic-Con panel, writer/director Joss Whedon revealed a quick teaser video, as well as the new title card, for the May 2015 movie. Check out a description of the teaser for The Avengers: Age of Ultron below, per io9.

Whedon basically showed a short teaser in which soundbytes from the first Avengers played over video showing metal being put together, with sparks flying. At first, it looked like a new Iron Man mask — and then we pulled back and it revealed the trademark mask of the Avengers' great foe, the robot Ultron. And then we read the above movie title.

UPDATE! Per Screen Rant:

The preview included material from the first Avengers film, spliced together with new footage (showing a man approaching an unidentified temple) and the reveal of CGI images that form Ultron’s face – followed by the official logo, which is featured as the header image for this article.

Are you ready for Ultron?
