Captain America: The Winter Soldier is filming in Cleveland. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is filming in New York City. And X-Men Days of Future Past is filming in Montreal.
Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox are Marvel crazy and playing catch up now that Marvel Studios has two $1 billion-plus blockbuster movies in a row with The Avengers and Iron Man 3. Everyone is cashing in on the superhero movie genre right now.
Speaking of X-Men, it appears there are some folks up in Montreal, which has been changed into France, on Notre-Dame Street who are not happy with the Vietnam War so they have gathered themselves together to make a stand in the film. (Remember one of the two time lines in the next X-Men film is in the 70s.) The Daily SuperHero was also told that base camp is located down by the Old Port near the Customs Canada Facility.
