While fans are eagerly waiting to see the first trailer of next summer's The Wolverine, actor Hugh Jackman has confirmed a tiny bit of information.
"You want to get me into trouble, don’t you?" Jackman laughs while answering a question about The Wolverine, with Parade.com. "Okay, the movie takes place after X-Men: The Last Stand. My character is at his lowest. He is supposed to be able to heal himself, but he may encounter someone who has worked out a way to really hurt him. And there is a cameo from one of the past X-Men in it."

We already knew that The Wolverine was taking place after X-Men: The Last Stand and Wolverine is alone in Japan dealing with the results from The Last Stand. We also knew of a rumor saying that a former X-Men character could be making a cameo in The Wolverine, which is now confirmed.
But who will it be?
The previous rumor stated that female actor Famke Janssen would reprise her role as Jean Grey/Phoenix in The Wolverine and this could happen in some flashback or vision that Logan has. Or it could be someone else. Stay tuned.
The Wolverine hits theaters on July 26, 2013.
