Over on Threads, writer and director James Gunn issued an update on season 2 of PEACEMAKER.
In a nutshell, Gunn confirmed the second season does in fact begin filming this summer and will partially start filming during the same time SUPERMAN will be filming. Gunn said that he will not be directing all episodes of PEACEMAKER, due to working on SUPERMAN too.
Gunn also stated things that happen in SUPERMAN will help to set-up the next season of PEACEMAKER. And finally, he said that PEACEMAKER season 1 is not a part of his new DCU universe, while season 2 will be a part of the new canon.
No confirmed timeframe for PEACEMAKER season 2 to debut on Max has been announced yet.
