Disney Hires Writer For ANT-MAN 3 Movie as Well as New Writer For the Star Wars KENOBI Series

If there is one profession who may excel during worldwide lockdowns, due to the pandemic, it is that of being a writer. Whether it is a novelist or screenwriter or whatever wordsmith position is also out there in the world, now is the time to look at written pages and further develop them. That way when this health crisis is behind us then scripts will be so polished that production can begin as soon as things are safe to be in contact with other people once again.

This is the case for the upcoming Star Wars series KENOBI. According to Variety, Disney and Lucasfilm have hired on writer Joby Harold to rewrite the Star Wars streaming series for Disney+. Variety writes:

"Harold takes over writing the highly-anticipated series from Hossein Amini, who left the project back in January. This would mark Harold’s first time writing for a television series. He most recently executive produced 'John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum' and is also writing the script for Zack Snyder’s film 'Army of the Dead.'"

Also, Disney and Marvel Studios are officially in the business of bringing a third ANT-MAN movie to the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, writer Jeff Loveness is onboard to begin writing the script for the threequel. Loveness' most notable work has been as a writer and co-producer for the animated series RICK & MORTY

Director Peyton Reed, who directed both ANT-MAN and ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, will return for the third film as well as actor Paul Rudd and actress Evangeline Lilly reprising their leading roles, too.

No release date has been set for either the KENOBI series or ANT-MAN 3 at the time this post was published.

Be safe. Stay at home. And wash your hands.
