Has STAR WARS EPISODE VII Found its Next Villainous Sith Lord?

Finally, some potentially confirmed news for Star Wars Episode VII!

According to Variety, their sources have the scoop about which actor will play the main villain in Star Wars Episode VII. The trade website states that Girls actor Adam Driver is negotiations to play the leading villain in the next Star Wars film.

"Exact details are unknown, but the character is said to be in the vein of iconic 'Star Wars' villain Darth Vader."

Who Driver will play remains to be seen. Many fans are already hoping he will portray the main character from the Star Wars Force Unleashed video game franchise, Darth Vader's secret apprentice Galen Marek a.k.a. Starkiller. No matter who Driver will play, his "creepy performances" in the television series Girls most likely helped him land this coveted role that may carry over into Episode VIII and IX of the new trilogy.

The next addition to the Star Wars Saga will start filming at Pinewood Studios in England this spring. Expect more casting announcements in the coming weeks since principle photography is right around the corner.

Star Wars Episode VII will release in theaters on December 18, 2015.
