GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: Marvel and Bradley Cooper Rumor Resurfaces, This Time as ROCKET RACCOON

Once again the tabloid website Latino-Review has struck. This time claiming they know who Marvel Studios is eyeing for the voice of Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy. And it's actor Bradley Cooper.

But stop right here for a moment. Reason being is that this is not the first time The Daily SuperHero has heard Cooper's name come up because Marvel Studios has interest in him. Let's go back in time to October 2012 (see link below) and this site reported a rumor, that mostly went unknown as The Daily SuperHero was recently re-branded, saying Marvel had its eyes on Cooper too.

So hearing Cooper's name come up again is not that big of a surprise. Back in October it was assumed Cooper was being sought out for a few potential roles like Star-Lord or perhaps the lead in Ant-Man. Star-Lord is being played by Chris Pratt while Ant-Man still is not ready to start the casting process until during the first half of 2014. Cooper voicing Rocket could be considered a "leading role" since director James Gunn has gone public is saying the furry little, gun toting raccoon is the heart of the film.

If Cooper does get the gig, he's not a bad choice but The Daily SuperHero wants to throw another name into the mix whom Marvel Studios should consider... Patton Oswalt. He has experience as a leading voice for an animated movie with Ratatouille so he is definitely in Disney's rolodex. Just sayin'.

Guardians of the Galaxy is set to release on August 1, 2014.
